Melody/LyricsIn the fall, when grapes were ripe in orchards, all villagers - young and old, men and women - in large groups, would roam the orchards to collect fruit first thing in the morning. Accompanied by the dhol and zurna melodies or simply singing, they would pick grapes and load the carts with full baskets of fruit to take home. Collected and transcribed by Vartan Samvelyan.
