This is a song from the Breviary, part of the Sunrise Worship. It is addressed to the Holy Spirit and symbolizes the Resurrection of Jesus and his appearance to the eleven disciples and is performed at sunrise. It used to be a part of the Morning Hour Service. This service was established by Yezr A Parajnakertatsi. In the 12th century, by the efforts of Catholicos Saint Nerses Shnorhali the Morning Prayer was established.
