This is a song from the Breviary, part of the Sunrise Worship. It used to be a part of the Morning Service. It is addressed to the Holy Spirit and symbolizes the Resurrection of Jesus and his appearance to the eleven disciples. It is performed at sunrise. This service was established by Yezr A. Parajnakertatsi. In the 12th century, by the efforts of Catholicos Saint Nerses Shnorhali the Morning Hour service was established.
